Senior Year Expenses 2023 – 2024
After 12 years of education, you and your child have made it: the last year of high school! With just one school year left, there’s excitement and a bit of sadness as you look forward to the firsts and lasts. It’s a time to celebrate and cherish these moments. You don’t want the expenses that come with senior year getting in the way of enjoying this special year. By preparing ahead of time, saving and budgeting, you can make it a memorable experience. Here’s what to expect when it comes to your child’s high school senior year expenses. All payments must be made by cash or a money order made out to the High School for Arts and Business.
Mandatory Senior Dues: $150 1st Payment $75 Due November 2nd / 2nd Payment $75 Due November 30th
St. John’s University Rental (Date 6/28/24 and Time 9am)
Graduation Tickets (Approximately 5 Tickets)
Cap, Gown and Diploma Cases
Senior T Shirt and Senior Key Chain Souvenir
Senior Sports Day (Team Building Activities/Food) and Senior Picnic (Field Day Activities/Food)
Senior Brunch in School (Cap and Gown and Graduation Tickets Distribution/Food)
Optional Additional Expenses:
Senior Hoodie: $30 Payment Due October 27th
Prom: $125 Payments in April 2024
Terrace on the Park Rental (Date 6/6/24 and Time 7pm)
Dinner and Dancing, Decorations, Prom Souvenir, DJ and Giveaways
Senior Yearbook: $50 See Mr. Silver for more information
Senior Trip: Possible Over Night Trip or Possible One Day Trip Options/Payments in March 2024
Over Night Trip Approximately $385 per person includes 2 nights 3 days hotel and accommodations, round trip transportation, meals and activities at a resort
One Day Trip Approximately $135 per person includes round trip transportation, meals and activities at an amusement park
