A group of students from the High School for Arts and Business had the exciting opportunity to attend Game On! at the New York Hall of Science on a Thursday evening. Students were able to connect with professionals working in game design, development, art, and technology; try hands-on demos and activities that revealed what goes into building a game; and learn about career and education pathways across the gaming and tech industry. The students were accompanied by their Computer Science teacher Ms. Zheng and AP Calculus teacher Mr. Yam, as well as our Minecraft Team coach Mx. Di Maggio and AP Math Mr. Rimpici. Students were also able to see a robotics demonstration and learn more about opportunities for further exploration in these fields.
