Senior Year Expenses 2026 – 2027

After 12 years of education, you and your child have made it: the last year of high school! With just one school year left, there’s excitement and a bit of sorrow as you look forward to the firsts and the lasts. It’s a time to commemorate and treasure these moments. You don’t want the expenses that come with senior year to get in the way of celebrating this special year. By preparing ahead of time, saving and budgeting, you can make it a remarkable experience. Remember to participate in all the spirit days during the school year! Here is what to expect when it comes to your child’s high school senior year expenses. All payments must be cash or money order only and a receipt is given once payment is submitted as proof of purchase.

Mandatory Senior Dues: $165 Payment Due October 30, 2026
Includes the following:
Senior Meetings (Check Google classroom for dates throughout the school year)
Senior Field Day in Flushing Meadow Park 10/14/26 (Group photos for Yearbook taken/buses provided)
Senior Bronx Zoo Trip 4/20/27 (Transportation/entry ticket provided)
Seniors Awards Ceremonies (3/1/27 and 6/21/27)
Senior T Shirt (April distribution date to be determined)
Senior Teacher Swap Day 5/28/27 (Group photo and food provided)
Senior Picnic Flushing Meadow Park 6/4/27 (activities/food provided)
Senior Brunch in School 6/14/27 (Cap & gown/Graduation tickets/Senior souvenir distribution and food provided)
Graduation at St. John’s University 6/29/27 (2pm-4pm) Approximately 4 tickets per student (Seniors must arrive at 1pm for rehearsal and line up)

Optional Additional Expenses:
Senior Hoodie: $30 Payment Due 11/13/26 (Design voted on in Google classroom)

Senior Trip: $150 Payment Due February 2nd 2027
6/1/2027 Six Flags Great Adventure NJ (Roundtrip transportation, amusement park entry ticket, Meal voucher, snacks on the bus) 7am – 8pm (pick up and drop off at school) This trip takes the first 50 seniors that pay! Pay early to secure your seat. The bus fills up quickly. To book another bus we would need another 50 seniors to pay, which is not a guarantee!
Prom: $135 Payment Due March 5, 2027
6/11/27 Terrace on the Park (Time 7pm – 12am) Food/Prom Souvenir/DJ/Photo Booth/Giveaways
